Teams are registered in the District of Columbia Youth Football League (DCYFL) in Washington D.C. and we have two teams the 65 lb. (Ages 6-9) and 75 lb. (Ages 9-11).

In an effort to support our teams the coaches and (FEMTF) and (DCYFL) are asking for help to provide uniforms and equipment for the kids on all of our teams by taking part in our "ADOPT A PLAYER" program.

Dear Friend,

I hope this letter finds you well and that your year has been successful thus far. On November 27, 2004 we will hold the first annual Big Turkey Football Youth Tournament to support the Falcon Edge Male Task Force and Trinidad Falcons Football team a community athletic organization and the District of Columbia Youth Football League (DCYFL) which will be a large success. We hope to have raised over $50,000 in cash and prizes and create a stepping stone for a much larger tournament to follow the next year.

Next year, each team has to pay a hundred dollar entrance fee to play in the tournament that will help pay for the first prize of $1000 cash. We hope to receive a lot of support from the local community and merchants that will make the tournament a success. We hope to ended up with 28 teams playing and many prizes to give away.

Next year, however, many changes for the tournament are seen in the horizon. Our goal is to raise as much money as possible to make this event even more successful.

We are asking you to be a part of this high profile event with us. In this packet, we have enclosed information about the Falcons Edge Male Task Force (FEMTF), highlights for next year's tournament, information about, Trinidad Falcons and ways in which you can help us. The benefits are clear: advertising, a chance to show off one's product or services and, feeling good about helping a very worthy cause and a tax credit.

There are a number of opportunities for your organization to be part of this event, many of which are defined in this packet. Even the smallest things can make the difference between having a very successful event and just a mediocre one. T-shirts:

We will be printing and distributing for free, a T-Shirt/Uniform to all participants. This will be about 1500 T-shirts. All participants will be wearing these T-shirts not only during the tournament weekend, but also all year-round. Your logo or company name would look great on the shirt associated with this tournament.

Program Booklet:

A program booklet will be printed for every team member and the crowd. It will include a map of the area, tournament brackets and times, list of all players, directory of all sponsors and full and half page ads. It will be a great piece to remember the tournament by.

Stadium Banners:

Since we hope this tournament will be televised, there are many opportunities to be seen on TV, even just in the background. We will be offering strategic locations for small and large banners.

Promotional Acknowledgments:

 You can be acknowledged as an official sponsor. We will also be looking for other sources of media (Radio, Newspapers and magazines) to advertise the event. You can be mentioned on them or have your logo and company name printed.

Promotional Giveaways or Prizes:

You may want to include product samples or material to be distributed to everyone. You can also have prizes that will be raffled off to any participants or you could sponsor prizes for teams after the cash prizes(4th, 5th and so on). You can also sponsor teams to play by paying their entrance fees.

Other Opportunities:

In addition to the above, we will be taking out ads in numerous Newspapers, distributing posters, renting a highway billboard, publicizing through radio to attract more teams to the tournament. We will probably include all of the sponsors' names and possibly logos on all promotional material. It will be a great chance to show the public the goodwill that your company has.
